History Mystery Tours

As part of the program to interpret the cultural and natural history of Huntley Meadows Park and Huntley farm, History Mystery tours are offered for a small fee to 4th-grade students and scout groups studying Virginia history. The tours of the house explore life in early 19th century when the Masons and their eight children would have visited the farm for relief from the heat of the city. Students learn how to understand the present-day landscape in relation to its 19th-century antecedent. For information, call Huntley Meadows Park Visitors Center at (703) 768-2525.
